Uttarakhand , one of the beautiful places in India unfortunately had to witness the breath-taking glacier burst. This disaster happened on the 7^th of February, 2021. The sudden flood in the middle of the day in the Dhauli Ganga, Rishi Ganga and Alaknanda rivers which are tributaries of the Ganga was caused due to a landslide or glacier burst. Due to extreme floods nearly 72 were killed.

 Nature is a gift for humans. It’s our responsibility to conserve it. We all are witnessing a drastic climate change across the world. Unexpected rainfalls, disastrous cyclones and earthquakes are putting lives at stake. The beautiful places of the world are depleting, the world’s largest ice berg in Antarctica was broken recently. Either World is really going through a rough patch or it is just healing, healing in its own way.

Researchers estimated that this glacier burst was caused due to the sudden release of water trapped inside ice glaciers. Scientists had warned the Government of India for many years that the Himalayas had been warming at a dangerously high rate and the region is extremely exposed to the dangers of development projects. Tapovan Vishnugad Hydropower Plant, The Rishiganga power project on the Rishiganga river have hit hard by the flood.

“Climate change is the major factor in the rapid freezing and thawing of ice that causes glacier fractures” says Dr. Kalachand Sain, director of the Wadia Institute. No wonder we deserve such disasters. The educated people about the climate change issue are either sitting idle or not supported to take actions. People who does not understand the severity of the issue continues to ignore. Government should take actions against climate change, it’s an emergency. We saw how people died with the shortage of medical oxygen during the surge of COVID19 second wave in India, wouldn’t it be horrifying to imagine a future where people might suffer without a pure air to breath or pure water to drink. Many environmental groups are trying hard to educate people and increase awareness but without strict rules and regulations, people are less likely to follow .

The resources we have deserve to be taken care of . Climate changes are causing day to day harm for humankind. The only way to save our Earth as well as ourselves is to take actions against climate change .

“The future of the nation depends on the youth of the country “.yes that’s true, but what can be the future if an energy, time and money from youths are wasted? Youths are told to be careful with decisions they make and fill their brains with making good amount of money. Someone said “make good money, otherwise no one will give their daughter “haven’t u heard someone telling” marry a guy with good salary “. Money and the way of making it is at times tricky.

Network marketing companies like ebiz is targeting youths to join their company. People are called for venue meetings and served with motivations and success stories. This company urges youths to take up a computer course worth rupees 17,000. Which is just for name sake .Their aim is to spread the computer knowledge among youths, but that’s not only about a computer course. The company expects their members to indulge in a networking business.  This starts by a person who joins us into ebiz , as soon as we are in we are expected to join another two members under us , so the chain continues and begins to network , seems appealing right ? . Convincing people to join by just serving them this idea will not be enough. Without having any alternative, people of ebiz started to brain wash students to take up this business.

 Investigation under PMLA special court revealed that funds were fraudulently collected from the subscribers as membership deposits .people were brainwashed and made to take up memberships. The interesting factor is, the company is targeting students primarily.

Why is ebiz targeting the first year students the most?  Maybe that’s the time where most of us were done with 10^th grade tensions and just trying to dream our future, we can see so many successful people just because of such dreams, but misusing that energy for selfishness is not acceptable. “I can see that fire of success in your eyes “will be the most used dialogue to get us the membership. I wonder what sort of fire they saw at the first meeting.

This is a world running for success primarily with selfishness, but asking college students to bunk classes to indulge in their business is worst isn’t it?. The culture they are trying to bring in the society is no lesser than a crime. Using student’s urge to make money or urge of being successful for such fraud business has finally came to light and fortunately the company is banned.

This company was started in 2001, it was throughout India. There might be a success stories in the same business but that’s rare. One in 10 would accept to join the company rest nine will be knowing that convincing people is not a joke. After the company was complained for being fraud, many members backed off. Many tell that, “it was a great escape from that clutches “, many were trolled by their friends through memes. Some parents still blame their children for taking up this business. All together the culture ebiz followed and the lessons it preached was itself unhealthy. Staying aware from such a trap is all my younger friends need. Without education, making money is hard in this generation and mainly in such Multi-Level Marketing era . So the next time anyone invites you for venue meeting which will be most of the times in a mall or a café , think twice and learn the art of saying a “no “ .
